Isola by Megan Gale — Second Summer Range 2010

Hi All! My Second Summer range for Isola by Megan Gale is now in store. I have added a new colour to the collection which I’ve called Guava — a beautiful red which I find to be flattering on both blondes and brunettes alike. There is also a new story called Amalfi, named after one of my favourite towns in Italy and has a lovely knotted detail around the edging as a feature of that particular style.

In addition to this, there is a new print called Paradiso, which has highlights of the new Guava colour tone, as well as the colours Bouganvillea and Nero from the first summer range, which will give you more options should you choose to mix and match plains with prints.

Hey Megan!
Congratulations on your second summer range, it looks amazing!
I am doing an assignment, in which i needed to pick an Australian fashion designer who i look up too. You! I have to choose 5 items from your latest range and explain what may have inspired you to design them. I am having a bit of trouble deciding which pieces to choose from your second summer range because they are all so beautiful! Could you help me pick 5 items which would be good examples of your inspiration?

Hi Alex,

That’s so sweet of you to choose me to write this piece on but unfortunately the swim season is over for 2011 and it’s only in a few
months time that I will release the 2012 collection.

I’m sorry that the timing of this is so bad but maybe you can find someone who does apparel and is showing a winter collection right now and you can write about something more current.
