Tegan Steele says…
Hello Megan,
Your website is beautiful!
My name is Tegan, I just thought I would let you know that every single day of my life someone tells me I look like you.
I get called “Megan Steele” or “Tegan Gale” all the time… we could be sisters.
I also have the same hair, skin and eye colour as you. I am currently applying for modeling agencies and I compared all my measurements to yours for fun and they are exactly the same, that is if the measurements on the internet are correct.
Don’t worry I am not a stalker or anything just a 22-year old girl who looks like you.
It would be nice to meet you one day to see if we look alike in person.
I think you are a wonderful person and am glad I look like you and not anyone else because you are beautiful inside and out! you are an inspiration…
Thankyou Tegan xo
Megan says…
Hi Tegan,
Thanks for writing to me!
All the best with pursuing modeling. Keep a level head, be professional, work hard, treat everyone around you with respect and you will go far. That goes for modelling or whatever you choose to do with your life.
Much Love,
Megan x

What a beautiful website. You would have to be the most stunning woman alive. Breathtakingly beautiful. Truly the modern day Sophia Loren, Hope 2011 brings you continued success and happiness. You are a goddess, your presence radiates beyond any other supermodel — Australians must be so proud to call you theirs.
All the best, I look forward to following your journey.

You rock Megan. I saw them twice last year at ANZ stadium and the second concert, I was in the moshpit, was the best night of my life!! Best wishes and good karma to you Megan.

Anna Chompff says…
Dear Miss Gale
I am a 48 year old mother of a teenage daughter aged 17, and two young boys aged 11 and 9. On Thursday 21 April 2011 I was shocked by the media coverage you instigated whilst over hearing comments about yourself. The general public was not privy to what was said about you. However although you dealt with it at the time, in person, you decided to take it further via social media and other media. Was it really necessary for you to take it this far because you know how to use the media?
As an average person who buys magazines to look at celebrities and watches the media for the same reason. I and my family was offended that someone of your calibre would publicly humiliate and embarrass two average ordinary members of the public even after you confronted them personally.
The reason I am so upset is because I often have to defend myself because people publicly humiliate, mock, and abuse me for the way I look when i go out. Like you I deal with these people with respect and dignity even though they do not do like wise. I teach my children not to hate, put down or mistreat anyone. However I would not like for a celebrity to make public as you did a conversation or personal opinion that for example my teenage daughter might have with her friends. The balance of power is unequal and unfair. I can understand how you felt however, I also have emathy for the other parties involved and the humiliation caused by the derision of them in the media.
Wishing yo well in all your endeavoours.
Kind regards,
Anna Chompff
Megan says…
Dear Anna,
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write to me.
Sadly, like quite a few people out there, I think perhaps you may have let the power of the media sway your opinion on what happened that day.
Twitter is a place where anyone can write about what is happening in their world at any given time. Anyone, celebrity or otherwise.
For me, on that particular day, I found myself in a situation that I found to be remarkably odd, humorous and unusual and chose to share it with the people that follow me on twitter — and that is my right as it is anyone’s right on twitter… to share.
I didn’t publicly name the girls or go directly to the media with this — the media chose to follow it and turn it into what I believed to be the proverbial storm in a tea cup. I can assure you that 2 hours after I had laughed off the entire situation, I was busy going about my day and had long forgotten the incident when I was informed that it had in fact reached news desks. This shocked me that with all the tragic things happening in the world at the moment, that something like this had in fact become news. I never intended for it to be picked up by the media and again, I can’t control what they choose to print.
If you had have heard what these ladies were saying, you would’ve not only been shocked, but perhaps also surprised at how calmly I reacted considering the things that they were saying and how I managed to have the good humour that was clearly reflected in my tweets. There was no anger involved on my part, only smiling at these girls and by showing them my face, that I was less than a metre away. Due to their loud insults, I could clearly hear what they were saying — no eavesdropping was required. Had I not done this, they would have kept going with the unkind remarks and only embarrassed themselves further as they inevitably would have seen me when they got up to leave.
These girls were not publicly named nor were their images featured so I’m not quite sure how you feel that I have humiliated them.
All I can say is that while perhaps I can control my tweeting, I can’t control what the media do. If I could, I can assure you, things would be far different.
All the best,
Megan x

Chelsea xx
Megan says…
Hi Chelsea,
Thanks for your lovely message and dropping by the site!
Modelling has been fantastic for me but while it looks glamorous from the outside, it’s a lot of hard work and not as fun as it seems.
So if you’re really keen to do it and be successful and have longevity, you have to work hard, be professional and take it all seriously.
And make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons. To be famous or to be rich are the least two reasons
you should ever do this for.
Sorry to sound like a Mum! But I always warn young girls in this way and give them the same advice.
Lots of love and luck to you!

Dear Megan,
it’s a pleasure to know you here in your website that I’ve visited.
It was so long time I didn’t see you in Italy on TV, but on November 5th in “Verissimo’s program” of Silvia Toffanin, it was amazing to see you there ;-) I hope you enjoyed the time in Italy also if you were in Italy to work.
I could to hear you about your life and I could understand you’re a radiant person, and I wish to advise you to read a book: ” A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle, this book can help you to think yourself and as you have to become conscius…is better read and pay attention every word you’ll understand me (of course when you’ve time).
Your italian language is good, not like my English, however I hope you understand ;-PpP.
